…to the website of the “Friends of Austria Ottawa, Inc.,” an English/French-speaking organization which welcomes new members interested in learning about and exploring Austrian culture.

Within the next little while, we are hoping to establish numerous activities within the Ottawa area, including hiking groups, language groups, music & cultural groups, and more.

The Events Calendar for 2010 has been posted!

Other commitments have meant that our previous webmaster has had to give up the web site. It has now been taken over by a new webmaster, who has also moved it to the web space of the Austrian Canadian Council (where you’re reading this message). Much has been done, but the following work remains:

1. All pictures from the previous events have to be uploaded.
2. Some text has to be translated into French. (Do we have any volunteers?)
3. Everything has to be tested in Internet Explorer. (The new version of the web site was tested using Firefox.)
